Sometimes you want fragrance to help transform the atmosphere around you. Other times, you want something softer that remains quietly in the background.

That is why CharGlow offers two distinct scent experiences: the Escape Collection and the Signature Collection.

Choose Escape for a Richer Fragrance Experience

Escape is CharGlow’s fragrance-forward collection.

These candles are made with soy wax and layered fragrance oils selected for candle use. The collection allows us to create more expressive combinations inspired by destinations, rituals, and the feeling of getting away.

Escape may be right for you when you want to:

• Create a more noticeable scent presence.
• Change the mood of a room.
• Explore layered fragrance combinations.
• Make a candle part of an evening or self-care ritual.
• Experience fragrances inspired by travel and place.

Current Escape scents include combinations such as coconut and santal, pineapple and papaya, and lychee with red tea.

Choose Signature for a Softer Scent Experience

Signature is the original CharGlow collection.

Each Signature candle is made with soy wax, essential oils, activated charcoal, and a cotton wick. The fragrance is intentionally lighter and more subtle than Escape.

Signature may be right for you when you:

• Prefer scent to remain softly in the background.
• Enjoy wood-inspired, botanical, or gently floral fragrances.
• Want an essential-oil-based candle.
• Use candles in smaller personal spaces.
• Prefer a restrained scent experience rather than a room-filling one.

Room Size Makes a Difference

The same candle can feel different in different spaces.

A candle may feel more noticeable in a small office, bedroom, or bathroom than in an open living area with tall ceilings. Fans, air conditioning, open windows, and burn time can also affect how the fragrance develops.

When choosing a collection, consider:

Essential Oils and Fragrance Oils Create Different Experiences

Signature and Escape are not intended to compete with each other.

Essential oils help give Signature its subtle botanical and wood-inspired profiles. Fragrance oils allow Escape to explore more layered combinations and a fuller fragrance presence.

Neither category is appropriate for every individual, animal, or environment. Choose according to the finished formula, scent strength, and needs of your household rather than assuming one type of scent material is universally better.

Which Collection Is Better for Homes with Pets?

For homes with pets, we generally recommend beginning with Signature because it is intentionally lightly scented.

This is a recommendation based on scent strength—not a guarantee that every Signature candle will be appropriate for every animal.

Any fragranced candle should be used in a ventilated area, kept out of reach, and discontinued if a person or animal shows signs of irritation or discomfort.

Choose Escape when you want fragrance to help define the atmosphere of the room.

Choose Signature when you want fragrance to complement the room more quietly.

Both collections are hand-poured in small batches and presented in reusable CharGlow ceramic vessels.
