two Collections, Two Scent Experiences
CharGlow offers two intentionally different fragrance experiences.
Escape Collection candles are made for customers who enjoy a richer, more noticeable scent presence. Their fragrance develops as the wax warms and is designed to create atmosphere throughout the room.
Signature Collection candles are lightly scented with essential oils and are intentionally more subtle. They work best in smaller rooms or spaces where you prefer fragrance to remain softly in the background.
Scent perception varies based on room size, airflow, burn time, temperature, and individual sensitivity.
Get the Best Burn from Every CharGlow Candle
Proper candle care helps your candle burn more evenly, last longer, and perform as intended. These guidelines apply to both our fragrance-forward Escape Collection and our lightly scented Signature Collection.
Before the First Burn
Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, open windows, fans, and flammable materials. Remove any packaging and make sure the wick is centered and trimmed to approximately ¼ inch.
Let the First Melt Pool Develop
On the first burn, allow the melted wax to expand toward the edges of the vessel. This helps establish an even burn pattern and reduces the likelihood of tunneling.
Do not exceed four hours of continuous burn time. Depending on the candle and its environment, the wax may not reach every edge immediately; candle performance should be evaluated across several burns rather than from the first use alone.
Trim Before Every Burn
Before relighting, allow the candle to cool completely and trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch. Remove any loose wick debris from the wax. A properly trimmed wick supports a steadier flame and can help reduce soot, mushrooming, and uneven burning.
Burn for No More Than Four Hours
Do not burn your candle for more than four hours at a time. Longer burns can cause the vessel to become excessively hot and may create a larger or less stable flame. Allow the candle and vessel to cool fully before relighting.
Always Burn Within Sight
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and animals. Do not move the candle while the wax is melted or the vessel is hot.
Discontinue use if the vessel becomes damaged, the flame repeatedly becomes unusually large, or the candle produces persistent heavy soot.
Extinguish Carefully
Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame. Do not pour water onto the candle and do not use the lid to extinguish the flame. Before the wax hardens, confirm that the wick remains centered.
Protect the Candle Between Burns
Once the candle has fully cooled, replace the lid to protect the wax from dust and debris. Store the candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Stop When ½ Inch of Wax Remains
Discontinue burning when approximately ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. Continuing beyond this point can cause the base of the ceramic container to become excessively hot.

Give the Vessel a Second Life
After the candle is finished and fully cooled, remove the remaining wax and wick hardware before cleaning the vessel. The ceramic container can be reused for small household items, office supplies, decorative storage, or other non-food purposes.
Do not place the vessel in a microwave or use it for food unless the material and finish have specifically been confirmed as food-safe.
